Note: Not currently teaching Kung Fu, but wanted to give people some more info about my martial arts background.
Kung Fu is an ancient Chinese Martial Art that balances mindfulness with powerful physicality rooted in the Five Animal Southern Shaolin Tradition.
People of all ages can learn Kung Fu. Traditionally it is considered to be an art, rather than a competitive sport. There is room for everybody, regardless of shape, size, age, or physical ability. We each grow at our own pace.
Mindfulness and meditation are important tools in the development of the Kung Fu martial artist. At its root, Kung Fu is a powerful and effective martial art, but its Shaolin Buddhist roots provide benefits for the mind and spirit, as well.
